Check out the new issue of Lenswork and read the interview with Richard Benson (this link is to another photo blog but gives you the low-down). It is a very interesting conversation on old printing methods and the new realm of digital and ink-jet printing.
Here are two prints I made in the darkroom for the Morgan Fine Arts Open House a couple of weeks ago:

DIRT TIME
Working on some new images for a show at Rob Malmberg's upcoming open house, I was revisiting some of the olden goldies from the watch box.
The Open house is coming up on the 26th at the Morgan Fine Arts building and I'll have some 4x6 slilver-gelatin prints up for view and sale as Robert opens up his studio to a handful of us to show some new work. I'll post the flyer when the even is closer-in the meantime, enjoy the dirt-time!

The Mothership
Roof top while the weather is still nice - looks like the mother ship is taking all of the residents back with them-

ALTERED CARBON

Altered Carbon is an amazing science-fiction novel by Richard K. Morgan that I read about a year ago. A new look at the future with some that is a journey unto itself. Definitely worth the read--

PICK OF THE DAY
This is the front door. I finally got around to taking a picture of it and in the process it reminded me of an article that I read about two months ago in WIRED magazine about Mark Weber Tobias. This guy is definitely into chaos and pretty interesting/controversial. Check out the article and enjoy the pic-

THE ALIENIST
I just finished a book by Caleb Carr - The Alienist. It is a great read and I highly recommend it-
